Job Summary:

The Employment Services Manager will manage the day-to-day operations and staff of assigned area and to assist other Employment Managers and Senior Director in leading the assigned areas in accordance with the company mission.

• Salary: $50,000.00 to $55,000.00 based upon years of experience
• Schedule: Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM

As part of our team, you will:

Program Development: Develop Employment Services to meet the demanding and ever-changing needs of the individuals’ seeking supports.

1. Fully understands Employment Services and how they are meant to be delivered
2. Research new developments in the area of employment services
3. Accurately and completely explain programs, services, and expected outcomes to potential referrals
4. Participate in training and development activities so new ideas and/or concepts can be implemented into the program(s)
5. Create and assist with marketing plans and strategies
6. Assist Manager in developing program goals and action plans as needed, at least annually
7. Increase enrollment in services, achieving the goals set for the service year

Service Delivery: Provide and oversee the delivery of person-centered services that support individuals to achieve their employment goals.

1. Develop resources and curriculum as needed for people and staff to explore employment options
2. Person centered crisis intervention
3. Believe all people are capable of employment and support teams to find the appropriate support for each individual
4. Promotes the highest level of independence for people enrolled in services whenever possible
5. Create and maintain records in accordance with MN DHS licensing as well as MN DEED (as applicable) and CARF
6. Keeps co-Manager and Senior Director informed of needs of the program and significant issues
7. Supervises accident incident reporting as well as vulnerable adult reporting

Personnel Management: Supervises staff by clearly identifying roles and responsibilities, enhancing skills, and promoting teamwork.

1. Recruits, interviews and hire staff based on qualifications as specified in the job description
2. Trains and supports staff to be knowledgeable in employment supports and best practices of service delivery
3. Monitors the training and progress of all staff to ensure guidelines are being met and licensing standards are achieved
4. Assures daily coverage and support needs are being met
5. Completes annual performance reflections with staff
6. Provides consistent feedback to staff regularly
7. Facilitates and promotes teamwork
8. Closely monitors billing to assure all services being provided are being billed for, and therefore billing goals are being met

Financial Management: Assists in creating and monitors budget so that projects are achieved.

1. Understand all sources of revenue and proper means of collection
2. Support staff to submit 6790s and service authorization requests immediately upon request for services and minimum of 60 days prior to reauthorization of services
3. Reviews financials monthly within 3 business days of when they are available
4. Review financials with team to assure goals are being met and create plans with individual staff to address performance concerns
5. Works with co-manager and senior director when billing and revenue goals are not being met to determine next course of action

What will you bring to Opportunity Partners?

• BA degree in either social services or human services or equivalent is preferred.
• One year of employment services experience in working with people with disabilities.
• One year of supervisory experience is required.
