Job Summary:

As a Support Coach, you will support people to grow their skills and gain independence to the greatest extent possible, both on-site in a classroom setting and in the community. You will have fun while working with a great team!

  • Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM
  • Wage Range: $17.00 to $19.00 per hour

As part of our team, you will help people in the following areas:

  • Support individuals in engaging in both individual and group activities that encourage connection, learning, and enjoyment
  • Complete daily documentation, including progress notes and data tracking, using computer-based systems
  • Maintain a calm, neutral, and supportive demeanor when assisting individuals who may express heightened emotions or communication styles
  • Help individuals work toward goals outlined in their support plans, including positive behavior support, communication, community involvement, and other specified objectives
  • Assist individuals with personal care needs while upholding dignity and respect
  • Encourage physical activity— such as walking, stretching, or other exercises—both indoors and outdoors to help individuals stay active and engaged

The areas listed below represent our preferred experience, and we’re excited to see how your strengths and perspective can contribute to our team’s success.

  • One year of experience in human services field
  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Valid Driver’s License
